The One UI 2.5 update is coming to the Samsung Galaxy S10 series

Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 2.5 update for its Samsung Galaxy S10 series. The company started working on developing this new update for its smartphones six months ago and it was launched for the first time for the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Flip 5G and the Galaxy Tab S7 series.

The Galaxy S10 series has started receiving the One UI 2.5 update in Germany. The update comes in size 963.49MB and downloads the firmware version G973FXXU8DTH7. Whereas, the firmware versions for Galaxy S10e and Galaxy S10 + are G970FXXU8DTH7 and G975FXXU8DTH7 respectively.

Features of the new Galaxy S10 update
One UI 2.5 update includes Wireless DeX, which first appeared on the Galaxy Note 20 series and the Galaxy Tab S7 series. It is a feature that allows you to wirelessly link your smartphone to any Miracast enabled TV. With the new update, the feature has been provided with the quick switching of Wireless DeX and options to adjust the screen size and font size.

The new update also comes with improvements in the Pro Video Mode in the camera application, and an easier way to share Wi-Fi data with other Galaxy devices, as well as the ability to search for YouTube videos in the keyboard application.

Other features include support for Bitmoji stickers for Always On Display, pre-setting for SOS messages and the ability to send the site every 30 minutes for 24 hours, bug fixes and security and performance improvements are also part of the update.

You can check for a new update by going to the phone’s Settings menu, selecting Software Update, and pressing Download and Install. The update is scheduled to arrive in the rest of the regions soon.
