Intel is constantly developing its own Core brand of processors, announcing 11th generation processors today that come integrated with the Iris Xe GPU for the first time.
The new generation of Intel processors comes built with a 10-nanometer architecture with a technology that the company called SuperFin and is expected to reach laptops in the market by the end of 2020, featuring Core i3 – i5 – i7.
Intel recently announced a delay in producing 7nm CPUs, unlike AMD, which has already started manufacturing 7nm processors.
Intel says that its new flagship processor Core i7-1185G7 surpasses the previous generation i7-1065G7U by 100%, and at a frequency of 4.8 GHz, it will provide 1080p resolution without an external graphics card.
It will also fully support ultra-fast Thunderbolt and USB4 ports, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity technology, and will be the first to be integrated with PCIe Gen 4.
She pointed out that the eleventh generation of processors “11th Gen Intel Core” will provide about 20% faster speed than the tenth generation.
The new 11th generation Intel processors also support up to 8K resolution with HDR technology, and up to 4 separate 4K displays.
